Ölgerðin receives an excellent rating in Reitun's sustainability assessment, as the company has undergone a UFS assessment conducted by Reitun since 2021. Ölgerðin received 86 points out of a possible 100 and falls under category A3 along with five other listed companies on the market.
Compared to other Icelandic publishers, Ölgerðin is above average in all categories with 86 points, while the market average is 73 points, which falls under category B2.
Ölgerðin's staff sees sustainability as a long-term project and is proud of the path the company is on.
