The tourism company Tröll Ferðaþjónusta has reached an agreement to acquire Ísbúð Vesturbæjar from Kjarnavörur, a subsidiary of Bera.
The transaction values Ísbúð Vesturbæjar at ISK 215 million, according to an earnings announcement from Bera, the parent company of Ölgerðin. The acquisition is subject to approval by the Icelandic Competition Authority.
Bera decided to put Ísbúð Vesturbæjar up for sale at the beginning of the year after acquiring the company as part of its ISK 4 billion acquisition of Kjarnavörur at the end of last year.
